    Phil Johnson. He writes

Phil Johnson. He writes from a perspective that the lay person can understand; he doesn't write in high-level, academia-style English. This is important for getting your message out. Now, I don't agree with ID on many points. For example, I think that the deductive argument ID makes through the Explanatory Filter is pretty weak. But Phil's arguments in Darwin on Trial and his other books help get people involved in the debate, which I think is important. We shouldn't censor ID.

    St Thomas Aquinas
    William Paley

edit - Aristotle - not quite an ID theorist, but he did come up with the First Mover argument and inspired a whole lot of excellent theological work that provides arguments for the existence of God.

    Wiker was my professor

I had him for a class he taught on theology and science at the Franciscan Universtiy of Stubenville. Great guy. I don't know that he'd call himself an "ID theorist."

An interesting aside, he has a sense of humor. In order to get everyones attention at the begining of class, he'd say, "All seriousness aside . . ."
