What's your bio curriculum like?
A couple years ago I went to
A couple years ago I went to my local university library (FIT and BCC) and checked out the biology textbooks. Some had sections specifically designed to defend Darwinism. They were pretty bad. I've seen high schoolers on net forums make more convincing arguments. Unfortunately, for those not familar with the subject matter those arguments would probably be pretty convincing.

Hey everyone,
I'm wondering what your biology curriculum is like in your high school. As for mine, we use Miller & Levine textbooks that pretty much are the inverse of Jonathan Wells' Icons of Evolution. Haeckel's embryos, the Miller-Urey experiment and some pepperred moths that Kettlewell pinned to a tree trunk are hailed as undeniable proof of Darwinian evolution. I'm a macroevolution fan, but somethings things just get out of hand. Where do you draw the line between science and fiction?
To their credit, Miller & Levine have cleaned up their act with later textbook editions. They still won't show pictures of vertebrate embryos (because the only reason they look similar is due to the red, blue and green ink used in the book), but the rhetoric is toned down quite a bit.
I'm not aware of a good textbook that teaches the controversy - or at least introduces the fact that there is a controversy to high school students. That would be nice to have. Just make sure it's put in print by both evolutionists and ID theorists. Both sides deserve a fair hearing!
