Judge Jones
Dover might have seemed like a loss for ID but in fact it was a great victory. The ACLU are on the side of the Godless in this case. The more people talking about ID the more likely the truth is to get out. And Dover achieved that in spades.
So the ACLU monkeys are losing overall.
I agree - it may have been a loss in the absurdly narrow (and broadly irrelevant) criteria of the biased US legal system, however it was a brave victory in the court of public opinion and in the hearts and Minds of every American who cares about Truth and Justice.
Any time an evolutionist asks me how I feel about "loosing" the Dover trial, I tell them that I am praying for a whole load more "defeats" like Dover. I tell them I'm certain that neo-darwinism will buckle under the mounting pressure that each one of their so-called victories brings. I tell them to watch what happens once the American people realize that the law has over-stretched itself and everybody who cares about science begins to protest.
All over America there are families who had never even heard of Intelligent design who after Dover are starting to ask, "How come our kids don't learn abut the controversy?". Dover exposed how corrupt and morally bankrupt the pro-evolutionists really are.
The Dover "defeat" actually reminds me a lot of the "defeats" that the liberal media keeps telling us we're suffering in Iraq. Anyone really paying attention knows that in Iraq the kids are painting the schools and the healthcare system so efficient we might adopt it out of jealousy. Marketplaces are busy, and there is so much traffic on the streets that there is often gridlock. You fly over it, and aside from the odd plume of smoke, Baghdad looks like Los Angeles. Hell, it even has palm trees! The little secret you'll never hear in the mainstream media: it was a slam dunk. The only reason we haven't left yet is that we haven't got the right people pumping the oil yet.
Dover was an overreach by an activist judge, and, mark my word, come election day the great American people, the same people who vote people on and off American Idol: Mr. Joe Sixpack and Miss Jenny Couponclip, will be voting their preferences for science education in the polling booth. In their gut they know the proper way science ought to be taught and they're not going to take peer-reviewed intellectual wordplay from anyone. I expect school boards to change DRAMATICALLY once we go on the offensive against the stooges of Darwinism.
THis is why homeschooling needs to be supported. I've always wondered why grants are not available to homeschoolers. After all, avoiding public school saves the taxpayer $$. Why not give a % of that back to the homeschooler's family in a rebate? This would have the effect of creating a positive feedback loop where more and more people choose homeschooling as their 1st option!
I've never had a problem giving a percentage of the money someone paid into the system back to them if they don't want their kids to go to public schools. If you own a home you probably pay a couple hundred dollars a year in taxes towards the public schools. For this money you get the benefit of having your children educated and also the benefit of having other children educated which give America a stronger, more intelligent workforce.
If someone wants a rebate for homeschooling of maybe 50% of what they actually paid into the system then that's alright with me. Their household should get their $100 dollars or so back.

I thought that the Judge Jones and The ACLU thing was hilarious. keep up the good work!
