It was over a year and a half ago that we began OverwhelmingEvidence.com. It began as a website by students and for students. Our hope was to bring students together to discuss the matters of intelligent design and evolution. A new poll from One News Now shows that American believe skepticism in evolutionary theory is not a reason to remove a scientist from a lab or a teacher from the classroom.

Triggered by the article on Nathaniel Abraham, a creationist biologist who was fired from the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, One News Now asked America whether skepticism in evolution should disqualify an individual from scientific research or teaching a biology class.

A new site was launched today responding to the PBS documentary Judgment Day, which was a very biased and somewhat inaccurate depiction of Darwinian evolution and the Kitzmiller v. Dover trial in Pennsylvania in 2005. It site is most definitely worth visiting and can be found at:

    www.judgingpbs.com

Check it out and spread the news--especially if you have seen the PBS documentary Judgment Day!!

This is a video that was originally videotaped for the TV documentary "Root of All Evil?" but this section was cut from the final documentary. It is an engaging discussion between Alister McGrath and Richard Dawkins on the topics of evolutionary theory and Christianity. It is worth watching and can be found here.

Medical animator David Bolinsky presents a stunning animation that show the bustling life inside a cell. Built by his company, XVIVO, to teach Harvard medical students, the clip features sweeping cinematic values and even a little drama. It communicates not only the facts of life, but life's truth and beauty.

This clip is avaliable from TED from a talk Bolinksy gave in March 2007. It can be found here.
